What if a workbook, checkpoint or exam does not load completely?


Sometimes, an activity may appear to be cut off at the bottom of the page. You may notice this if the words in a sentence appear to be cut off (as in the image below), or a multiple-choice question doesn't show any answer choices. If you experience this, please try the following solutions to resolve this issue.  

Reduce the zoom-level (magnification) of your browser.

If your browser is zoomed up to a magnification level greater than 100%, it can present display issues for some activities. Make sure your browser zoom size is not too large. Reduce the zoom level of your browser and see if that helps. Click here to learn how to adjust your zoom level

Try a different browser.

The courses work best in Chrome and Firefox browsers. If you are using one of these browsers and are having some display issues, try logging into Canvas from a different browser to see if that helps. If you are not already using one of these browsers, please make the switch. Information about each browser is listed below.

Idea: Try a mobile device!

It can be convenient to access your course on a mobile device. Just download the Canvas app, and log into it to work on your classes from your phone or tablet.
